Sarah Harrison is Specialist Orthodontist registered with the General Dental Council. She is also a member of the British Orthodontic Society and British Dental Association.Sarah qualified in General Dentistry at Leeds University Dental School, 1989. After qualifying, Sarah worked for a year in General Dental Practice followed by post-graduate studies whilst working in hospital based jobs. Initially this was as a Dental House Officer followed by training in Oral and Maxillo-facial surgery at hospitals based in Manchester and Preston culminating in the attainment of a Fellowship of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow.Sarah then undertook a 3 year postgraduate Orthodontic course at Manchester University Dental Hospital which resulted in attaining the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and in addition a Master of Science Degree in Orthodontics from the University of Manchester. Since then Sarah has worked in both Hospital Orthodontic Departments and Specialist Orthodontic Practice such that she has a wide experience of both complex and routine treatments. She enjoys working with children, teenagers and adults and always aims to offer the highest quality treatment investing much time in attending a wide range of courses to help to achieve this. Sarah is able to offer a full range of orthodontic treatment including aesthetic options such as, ‘Invisalign clear aligners and ceramic (tooth-coloured) fixed appliances as well as removable and functional appliances.
